PV-Magazine aims to hold a webinar on July 23, 2020 to investigate myths & realities of two different approaches of implementing solar PV systems including using central inverters and string inverters. This webinar is developed in partnership with Sungrow, to examine two case studies to explore the various conditions that benefit string and central inverters. From one side there is a clear economic preference for central inverters while the other is better off with string inverters.
Jeremy Powell, key account manager, and Panos Kamperidis, product manager from Sungrow UK are the discussion participants. Jeremy Powell will explain how plant layout and design should inform the choice of inverter technology. Powell has well over ten years of experience with various tier one inverter manufacturers and has witnessed a range of changing market trends in the renewable energy industry, according to PV-Magazine.
