As global deforestation continues and the amazon rainforest is still on fire, all of us especially decision-makers should take action in order to compensate such destructive catastrophes. .One of the urgent actions could be phased the coal power plants out and substitute solar and wind plants instead of them.
In the same vein, Ireland will boost its investment in offshore wind and solar PV capacity. During the 2019-2030 period, offshore wind capacity is set to increase from 25 MW to 1.9 GW at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 48.8 %, and solar PV will rise from 25 MW to 1.3GW at a CAGR of 43 %.
