The most efficient solar panel list of March 2021 has three new entries and several changes in rankings of the most-efficient list as compared to the February list. These new entries have taken the previous positions of their competitors with higher power output and efficiency.
The first entry is related to Silfab Solar’s Elite series, with 21.4% and 380 W power output; it is placed in the Sixth rank of the most efficient solar panel list of March 2021. The other entry is the Ultra X model of Suntech. This model of Suntech is the main competitor of Trina Solar’s Vertex model and Canadian Solar’s HiKu 7 model with 21.2% efficiency and 600 W power output. Ultra X model stood in the highest rank, the eighth rank, among these three rivals.
The latest entry is associated with the solar division of the well-known Hyundai heavy industry. Hyundai’s HiE-S480VI designed based on one of the high-efficiency solar cell configurations, shingle solar cells. In this technology, there is no cell-spacing due to connecting solar cells to each other by an electrically conductive adhesive. This PV module model placed in the latest, 20th rank, of our most efficient solar panel list of March 2021.
