Most Efficient Commercial Available Solar Panels, November of 2020, 72 Cells

The November 2020 list for the Most-Efficient 72 cells commercialized solar panels has had one significant change at its upper level. In the November list, the competition was between Canadian Solar’s HiKu 6 model and REC Group’s Alpha series. 

This change is important from two sides. From the first side, Canadian Solar’s HiKu 6 module outstripped the REC Alpha series as one of the most powerful module series in the solar market. From the other side, this module reached the highest power output among all 72-cell modules, thanks to utilizing the bifacial solar cells or dual solar cells. These bifacial solar cells harvest solar rays from two sides, however, at the module level, the module itself has not bifacial configuration.

This new entry also made our Most efficient 72 cells PV panels list longer than previous lists.
