Perovskite Solar Cell: The Suitable Alternative For Silicon-Based Solar Cell

As per day, the photovoltaic technologies are including wafer-based, thin-film, and perovskite-structured. These are also the so-called first, second and third generation of solar cells, respectively. The largest share of the solar market has been allotted to wafer-based solar panels. In spite of its growth in the share of the market, leading solar companies have been pursuing new technologies such as perovskite-based technologies to plummet the price of solar electricity. Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have some quite attractive properties: * High efficiency * Low cost * Easy manufacturing process * Flexibility * Light-weight. Besides all of these mentioned features, there are several issues to commercialize them. One of the most important obstacles is “Stability”. Most researchers and companies have focused on this issue to overcome and get closer to make them up in large-scale. We continue our post by explaining the stability in related future posts. Do you think PSCs will be the dominant future technology?
