Solar Installation in Poland has made significant progress since 2019. More interesting is that the country installed more than its entire added solar capacity in 2019, which was a record, only in 7 months of 2020.
The solar installation of Poland reached 486 MW, 1290 MW, and 2261 MW in 2018, 2019, and at the end of July 2020. it is important to note that only in July Poland installed 204.7 MW capacity. According to a new report by the Instytut Energetyki Odnawialnej (IEO), this year’s investments will be centered around prosumers in the micro-installations sector.
Back in 2013 the country had less than 50 MW capacity while this has changed and the country reached stunning milestones in its solar energy capacity in recent two years. So quite unbelievably, Polish solar market increased its added solar capacity more than 10 times and reached 1000 MW at the end of October 2019 and now to 2261 MW in only July 2020.
