In 2019, the top 10 module manufacturers were 80% Chinese, except Canadian Solar and Korean Hanwha Q Cells. The share of the top 10 manufacturers in the global cumulative module shipment was 79 GW or 65.4% of the total deliveries.
It seems this share is yet to grow. One example of this trend is JinkoSolar. According to TaiyangNews, JinkoSolar’s solar panel shipments worth was 14 GW in 2019. The result increased by 27.2% in 2019 compared to 11GW in 2018 and still holding on to a top position in PV InfoLink’s Top 10 Global Module Shipment Ranking for 2019.

It also noted that the majority of the list are also members of the Solar Module Super League (SMSL). SMSL is a group of seven major multi-GW module suppliers in the solar panel industry. It includes Brands such as Jinko Solar, JA Solar, Trina Solar, LONGi Solar, Canadian Solar, Hanwha Q Cells, and GCL. So all SMSL members are among the top 10 module manufacturers.
