Annual additional solar capacity in the U.K reached 233.4 MW. It resulted in the cumulative solar deployment capacity stood to the spot of 13,356 MW. It accounted for less than 2% of the total capacity.
According to the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) of the U.K, of the total 13.35 GW, 5,973 MW or 44.7% comes from 461 large-scale installations of more than 5 MW. Whilst 92.9% of all installations are sub-4kW, these only amounts to 20.2% (2,699.1 MW) of total installed solar PV capacity in the UK.
